Made from Recycled PET: Durable and Eco-Friendly

The Bates outdoor rugs are crafted from recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate), a yarn spun from recycled plastic bottles. While it is not Olefin, recycled PET offers very similar outdoor performance characteristics.

Key Features of Recycled PET Material

The yarn is solution-dyed, meaning the colour is added during the fiber extrusion process (not printed or dyed afterward).
This ensures excellent UV resistance and makes the rugs highly fade-resistant, even with prolonged outdoor exposure.
PET is also mildew-resistant, quick-drying, and durable, all while feeling soft underfoot.
